Empty a mind — How?

Meditation has become a $2 billion+ industry now.

Remember you are not a product or a defective piece.

Indian ancient philosophy refers to ‘darshana shāstra’ toward one’s existence. A function of mind consists of the power of the universe, one simply needs to eliminate stupidity. You can uncover 1000s of different teachings based on culture or demographic which already existed in your universal mind.

In most of the stories you have heard, empty your mind.

If you want to learn, then unlearn or be emptier. Which simply means if you pour water in a glass, which is already filled the water will drain.

If you listen, talk or focus with your mind already full of thoughts then you won’t be able to absorb the new thought at the required frequency.

So how can a person empty their mind?

  • By emptying muscles in mind — disaster.
  • By taking harmful drugs — disaster.
  • By taking alcohol — disaster.

There are various ways to achieve 1 goal, let’s say goal is ‘emptying mind’. You can take any way to accomplish and master your goal.

Only a mind can battle a mind (iron cuts iron). How?

Imagine you are battling with a huge robot. I know. I might never see you again.

So, in that case you wear a robotic suit, in order to compete. There will be a probability that you win, tie or you live.

Because you are using effective tools to do your job.

So you can try the basic activities:

  • Meditating,
  • Writing notes whenever you think,
  • Doing exercise to distract the mind,
  • Speaking less etc.

How much exactly will this empty a mind?

To a certain extent this will help you navigate toward having less distractions.

  • So how can a mind be emptied?
  • What does empty mind exactly refer to?

Basically the mind has tons of thoughts. Passing one neuron to a neural network.

Some thoughts change the world positively, some impacts negatively.

Most of the time, people are worried about negative thoughts. If you tackle the thoughts somehow consciously. Most of the problems are already solved.

In order to empty a mind.

Let’s take an example.

You focus for 5, 10, 25 seconds. Suddenly an unwanted thought attacks. You handle yourself and still get distracted.

You practice for long hours and are continuously attacked after a certain interval on a frequency.

What will be the consequences if the attack stops? Miracle.

I don’t know.

Imagine you are running a 10 miles marathon. After each 10, 30, 60, 100 meters, there are obstacles planted artificially. Artificially because most of the thoughts repeat based on our interest, activity, or any event we encountered or experienced. Any event that has a deep impact on our mind. You run 10 meters and stop, to jump the obstacle. You jump different levels of obstacles based on your current capability. Sometimes obstacles are so high that you stop running.

Similarly the distractions after 5, 10, 25 seconds are human made obstacles.

Sometimes it seems that obstacles are so high that we can’t jump. But we forget that we are playing this ‘obstacle game or even marathon’ in virtual reality. Which never existed to be so long.

In fact you can jump each obstacle, it’s your fear which is interrupting you from taking risks. This is the way a natural mind is designed — to protect.

More than 75% of mental health problems are experienced below 25.

The way to empty a mind.

Whenever your mind is distracted by an obstacle, either jump that obstacle or embrace it both ways is win-win.

Mastery is nothing but a continuous practice. If you continuously practice to not let obstacles distract your existence, you will master it.

Your mind will be emptier. Lighter.

The outcome of an empty mind depends on one’s hunger for wisdom.

Even if you do all this practice and step by step obstacle handling, you might not find the expected results.

The reason is hunger. Willingness to wisdom.
